Rakshabandhan is celebrated in shravana month in full day moon or otherwise also called as poornima. The best time to tie the rakhi is in Aparahan which is during late afternoon in hindu division. In case if Aparahan time is not available then we consider pardosh time which is also followed to carry out Rakshabandhan Rituals . It is also said that Rakshabandhan Ritual Ceremony should not be carried out during Bhadra. Since it is considered as malicious time to celebrate any auspicious festival or ritual.
